The unique construction of the UltraLyte gun requires adding a pad strip on each side of the gun body and one over sight housing (padding provided) to ensure the gun does not rattle. Fixed pad is in position in bottom of holster for front of gun. This method should reduce the likelihood that padding comes loose over time and allows for easier cleaning of the holster.
