Excellent vibration isolation mounting reduces impact from vibration on phone / camera. Design enables ventilation to keep phone from overheating (when moving of course). Comfortable access to volume controls and charging port. We have changed the selection process to make it easier to order the phone mount, bridge clamp and mount separately or together. For RT-P 2015+, mounting comes with handlebar spacers and longer bolt to fasten on inboard end of handlebar. Can be used with radar remote controllers. Medium length coupler positions phone comfortably. Ball mount with M8 x 1.25 thread bolts for handlebar clamp mounting on other models (GS). Select the phone holder, then the bridge clamp and mount type for your application.

Fairing Waterproof Lighter Socket

Lighter outlets are commonly installed on motor fairings to assist officers with powering various devices (also see USB outlet w/voltmeter and ON-OFF switch). Located on the RH side of the fairing above the BMW power socket, the lighter socket shares the connection to the BMW/Hirschmann connectors for the accessory power socket via a special "Y" harness. It is not recommended to use USB adapters with the lighter socket unless they are removed after use (they sometimes confuse the circuit which does not shut-down properly after ignition-OFF). Also make sure to remove any adapters prior to utilizing the BMW battery charger for the same reason. Formerly BMW PN 71 60 2 407 785
